Already Have Solar?
Get More From It.
Inverter failing, energy bills creeping back up, or just ready to add a battery? We diagnose, upgrade, and future-proof existing solar systems across Perth every week.
Four Ways We Improve Your System
Inverter Replacement
Old inverters fail silently — your panels may be fine but your system isn't producing. We swap out ageing or failed inverters for modern, warranty-backed units with real-time monitoring.
- Same-day assessment & quote
- All major brands stocked
- System re-commission & test
Battery Storage Retrofit
Add a Solax home battery to your existing solar system and stop exporting cheap energy back to the grid. Store your surplus, use it at night, and protect against outages.
- Compatible with most inverters
- Solax HS51 & HS36 modules
- Western Power approved
Panel Top-ups
Energy usage grows — EVs, pool pumps, air-con. If your current system isn't keeping up, we can add more panels (subject to inverter capacity and roof space).
- Free capacity assessment
- Matched panel selection
- Single Western Power application
STC Rebate Review
STC deeming periods shorten every year — the rebate available on a battery add-on today is higher than it will be in 2026 or 2027. We calculate exactly what you're entitled to.
- Perth Zone 3 STC calculation
- Battery scheme eligible from July 2025
- Lock in higher rebates now
Why Upgrade in 2025–26?
STC rebates shrink every year
The government's solar rebate scheme reduces the deeming period by one year every January. Acting now means a higher STC rebate on any new capacity or battery you add.
Battery rebates are new for 2025
From 1 July 2025, WA homeowners can claim STC rebates on eligible battery installations for the first time. Early adopters get the most generous rebate window.
Electricity prices keep rising
Perth grid electricity costs have risen over 40% in five years. Every extra kWh your upgraded system generates or stores is worth more today than when you first installed.
Ageing inverters fail without warning
Most inverters last 10–15 years. Proactive replacement before failure avoids lost generation, emergency call-out costs, and potential warranty gaps.
Common Questions
Can I add a battery to my existing solar system?
In most cases yes — a Solax hybrid inverter can be retrofitted, or we can replace your existing inverter with a hybrid model that supports battery storage. We assess compatibility during a free site visit.
My inverter is 8 years old — is it worth replacing?
Most inverters carry a 5–10 year warranty and a lifespan of 10–15 years. If yours is showing faults, underperforming, or has no monitoring, replacement usually pays for itself within 12–18 months of restored generation.
Will I lose my existing feed-in tariff if I upgrade?
Replacing an inverter or adding a battery generally does not affect your existing feed-in tariff rate — the connection agreement stays in place. We handle the Western Power notification paperwork.
Do I get STC rebates on an upgrade?
Yes. Adding panels generates STCs on the new panel capacity. From 1 July 2025, adding an eligible battery also attracts rebates under the WA battery scheme. We calculate your entitlement upfront.
How long does an inverter swap take?
Most inverter replacements are completed in a single day — typically 2–4 hours on site. Battery retrofits take a full day. We leave your system clean, commissioned, and monitored.
